Title: Finance Director
Location: India
The Finance Director manages and coordinates day-to-day customer accounts and financial activities in order to accomplish corporate initiatives and projects as directed in the region. This position leads, directs, and develops Customer Accounts and Accounting staff to achieve Company goals and fulfill local compliances & requirements. This position also communicates with Corporate and APAC, local teams, banks, local authorities, and different vendors to always ensure the best finance and customer accounts support in the country.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Business partner of different teams.
- Strong support to achieve Company level goals.
- Strong desire for automation and process improvements. Capability to investigate, evaluate and provide options and recommendations for improvement plans. Good follow-through action plans until satisfactory completion.
- Proficiency in Company investigation & audit cases in tax, and discussion with Local Tax Authorities.
- Proficiency in various direct & indirect taxes in the region. Ability to prepare tax forecasts, proactively follow up, evaluate, and recommend tax-planning actions.
- Lead and fulfill company secretarial requirements as per local requirements & timelines.
- Proficiency in handling related party transaction reporting and OECD requirements such as Local files, CbC Reports, Master files, and so on.
- Excellent project skills to research, lead, mobilize, and collaborate with various teams to accomplish assigned projects and goals.
- Supervises accounting functions related to operations in the region and consolidated financial reporting.
- Manage the month-end close, US reporting, and consolidation adjustment process to ensure effectiveness & timelines for reporting are achieved.
- Review & recommend Cash & bank forecasts, fund injections/applications/dividend declarations with HQ, and help maintain a valid cash position in supporting the smooth operation.
- Familiar with import & export, customs clearance requirements, and processes.
- Proficiency in Company investigation & audit case customs, and discussion with Local Customs Authorities.
- Focused on excellence in customer service.
- Provides senior management with the necessary data to make business decisions by performing research, cost/ benefit analysis, and recommendations as required.
- Responds with a sense of urgency to any request or issue; provides information and/or resolution in an expeditious manner.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Ability to set and track goals.
- Ability and/or experience to read, analyze and interpret government rules and regulations, technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents, and communicates findings with management effectively.
- Ability and/or experience to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Customs software user or approver experience is preferred.
- ERP experiences Oracle, Oracle Fusion, and Tally are preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication, in English and native languages.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree is typically expected.
- Internal candidates: Minimum of 5 years total management experience, including a minimum 3 years as an exceptional performing Mouser Manager.
- External candidates: Minimum 6 years of total management experience, including 4 years' experience as a manager or higher-level management position. Exceptional references required.
- 5 years of domestic product trading experience required.
- 2 years of e-Commerce Trading experience is required.
- Chartered Accountant in the Country.
- 2 years of audit or tax experience with large or medium size Certified Public Accountant firms is preferred.
- Experience with MNCs and managing in an international environment with different accounting standards (Local and US GAAP) is preferred.
