Job Description:
The Field Implementation & Project Management - Director is responsible for end-to-end project delivery and change management execution. This individual will be accountable for strategic program planning, program and project efficiency, effective decision-making on scope, schedule, and costs within the portfolio. They will work in partnership with Business and Technology to establish effective and transparent management of critical milestones, decisions, staffing, planning, and leads the business through development of field implementation strategies for successful launches.
Key Responsibilities

50% Project Delivery of Change & Project Management: Lead AWM Business programs and projects within project delivery framework, utilizing project management methodologies and tools based on the PFI's segmentation model. Actively monitor the financial gatekeeping process for adherence and standards to secure value delivery for large-scale projects. Responsible for managing budgets, ensuring compliance with organization's financial policies, and providing strategic advice to the business. Innovate and implement new approaches to project delivery processes, services and methods. Provide thought leadership and lead the end-to-end work surrounding AWM Programs and Projects that require change management with the field. Work with Field Implementation stakeholders to create strategy and implementation plans used by the team to ensure successful implementation of initiatives. Fully assess field capacity to provide recommendations for timing, scope, resources, risk/mitigation plan, and appropriate implementation strategy to successfully execute the plan.
25% Create and preserve strong relationships through working collaboratively with business owners key stakeholders throughout the project life cycle and change management process. Ensure on-going and frequent reporting of program/project status and key field implementation metrics to key partners to ensure uptake and results are achieved.
25% Provide effective people leadership through development planning, feedback, and sound performance management practices. Act as champion for the team and intervene on matters that create roadblocks to individual or program/project success. Accountable for leading implementation and project managers (employee and contractors) in a manner that ensures timely delivery on commitments/tasks in support of broader program/project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
7-10 years of relevant experience required such as: project management, change management and implementing initiatives.
Experience in managing transformational initiatives.
Ability to navigate across organization and work effectively across organizational boundaries.
Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills. Strong organizational, process and project management skills.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical information in non-technical language to drive progress.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications Preferred: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACI, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, ITIL and/or CMMI
Experience operating in a matrix environment.
Deep understanding of the technology products and services utilized within the financial services industry.
Experience organizing, planning and executing business and technology projects from vision through implementation.
