About the Job
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to state-of-the-art transport studies of novel low-dimensional materials, such as semiconductor nanowires, quantum wells and DNA-nanoassembled materials. Experiments on Majorana states for possible applications in topologically-protected quantum computing will feature prominently. The successful candidate will participate in all stages of these experiments, from initial concepts to device fabrication, measurements, data discussion and analysis. The successful candidate will interact extensively with the PI, graduate and undergraduate students.

Qualifications
Required: Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, with knowledge of superconducting device nanofabrication and low-temperature transport.
Preferred: Well-versed in superconductor-semiconductor quantum devices.
