Description

The Emory Orthopaedics Department is recruiting a full-time, board certified (or eligible) non-surgical physicians to join the rapidly expanding, Orthopaedic service line at Grady Memorial Hospital.

 

The incumbents will be responsible for quality patient care, providing outpatient clinical care as well as procedures.  They will manage non-operative common and chronic musculoskeletal patient care needs, manage sports related injures and concerns and perform outpatient regenerative medicine and clinic procedures.

 

Candidate can be entry level or have one to two years of experience beyond residency/fellowship training. Expected to demonstrate a commitment to the education of fellows and residents.

 

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an approved medical school.
  • Completion of an approved Internal Medicine, Family Practice residency, or Sports Medicine Fellowship.
  • Board certified/board eligible and have excellent clinical skills.
  • Board certified or board eligible in primary specialty.
  • Valid medical and controlled substance licenses in the State of Georgia
  • Valid DEA license

 

Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Capability to manage non-surgical fractures
  • Ultrasound experience in musculoskeletal medicine
  • CAQ in Sports Medicine
  • Working knowledge of NCAA rules for collegiate injury care
