Haven Homes, a 5-star rated senior care campus, is hiring compassionate, creative individuals to join our team as Therapeutic Activities Coordinators.  In this role, you will assist in implementing activity programs for our independent, assisted living and memory care unit. We are looking for someone that is reliable, positive, energetic, compassionate and patient

There are Part-Time, benefit eligible positions available working a varied schedule including every third weekend. Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Therapeutic Activities Coordinator responsibilities:

  • Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities.
  • Interact and assist residents on a one to one basis outside of structured program times.
  • Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.
  • Act as a positive representative at all times.
  • Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Assist in implementing Therapeutic Activity programs to meet the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs of all residents in skilled nursing facility, assisted living, and memory care.
  • Maintains accurate attendance documentation for all residents.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.

Therapeutic Activities Coordinator skills and requirements:

  • High School education required.
  • Ability to work with senior adults with disabilities and their families in nonjudgmental, patient and professional manner.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
  • Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills
