Summary
The Corporate Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. This position carries out responsibilities in all HR functional areas with an emphasis on onboarding, benefits administration, recruitment, and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day guidance on HR policies, processes, and programs to all employees.
Oversee Workday onboarding process by supporting regional teams, resolving issues, and training new users.
Maintain Workday HCM records and compile reports from the system.
Coordinate new hire onboarding for corporate and ensure compliance with new hire forms.
Contributor to the Workday HCM, onboarding, applicant tracking, and benefits modules implementation project team.
Provide benefit administration support by communicating benefits offered, handling benefit inquiries and escalating issues to the HR Director.
Assist HR Talent Acquisition Manager with screening applications, conducting phone interviews, and coordinating on-site interviews.
Assist HR Compliance Manager with EEO/Affirmative Action Plan activities and reporting.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies, procedures, and processes.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related.
Three or more years of human resources experience. Construction industry experience is preferred.
Technically savvy and fast learner.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HCM systems. Prior Workday experience is preferred.
Working Conditions

Location - This role will be full-time in the Burnsville, MN corporate office.
Office environment - Extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally.
