Job Title Adjunct Instructors - Health Professions
Job Description
SCC is currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses in our Health Professions Division.

Adjunct instructors at Southeastern Community College provide educational services as assigned, in accordance with general college guidelines, board policies, and administrative guidelines.

Adjunct instructors in Health Professions programs must meet one of following qualifications:

1. Master’s degree or higher in a qualifying field or a Master’s Degree with 18
 graduate hours in a qualifying field; or
2. Bachelor’s degree in the field of instruction with either 5 years teaching 
 experience or 4000 hours related work experience; or
3. 6000 hours related work experience.

Adjunct teaching contracts are subject to cancellation due to low student enrollment or adjustments to teaching assignments due to full time faculty load requirements.



Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Applicants must possess the appropriate registration, certification, or licenses for the occupational area in which the instructor is teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

Flexibility to instruct classes during day, evening, and/or weekend hours, and for campuses in West Burlington and Keokuk. Online courses may also be available.


Official transcripts will be required upon hire.
