Job Purpose and Impact

The Sustainability Digital Product Lead will lead a cross functional team of experienced professionals to develop customer driven products and solutions. This role is a key differentiator in delivering solutions to our internal and external customers and executing on our sustainability strategies through the innovation and development of our digital portfolio, capabilities, and technologies. The product lead understands and translates the external landscape, the market drivers and insights into products that create value for internal stakeholders, downstream customers and commercial success for Cargill.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead communications with business and function partners across the company to uncover business needs and deliver optimal solutions by leveraging a deep understanding of the markets, the external competitive landscape and customers unmet needs to drive innovative digital strategies, products and commercial solutions.

  • Develop the business case to support investments and gain alignment and approvals. Manage budgeting, product or portfolio profitability and commercial outcomes to deliver on the business case.

  • Work with others to identify, assess and establish external partnerships. Lead and coordinate execution of the product strategy working to align and coordinate cross functionally and externally with key partners.

  • Translate the business strategy, sustainability goals and customer drivers into a digital portfolio and product strategy that enables market differentiation and commercial opportunities. Own the portfolio or product roadmap throughout its lifecycle.

  • Monitor, report and continuously improve product performance. Responsible for ongoing operational performance of digital products and customer experience. Incorporate sales team and customer feedback into enhancements and new requirements.

  • Develop GTM launch plans. Lead delivery and execution of the product in the field working directly with sales teams to drive engagement and ownership. Promote the product to the sales team through training, webinars and other channels. Perform product demos for customers, internal stakeholders and sales teams.

  • Contribute to the environment and sustainability goals of the organization while driving the implementation and visibility of best practices, processes and continuous improvement related to the product across the enterprise or group.

  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree

  • Proven experience in project management and leading product development teams

  • Subject matter authority in areas of supply chain, operations and customer facing roles
