Position Summary:

The Groundskeeper ensures that all grounds, buildings and equipment are properly maintained in the most timely and cost-efficient manner.

  Responsibilities:

• Maintains grounds of community.
• Cleans grounds and removes litter, using necessary tools.
• Maintains and repairs Lawn Sprinkler system.
• Assists Maintenance Technicians as needed in maintaining all grounds, buildings apartment homes and equipment.
• Assists in the execution of preventative maintenance program.
• Advises supervisor of the overall condition of the equipment and furnishings of the community.
• Interacts with residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and possess a basic knowledge of construction principles. Sprinkler Repair Experience Preferred.
