WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Join a passionate team that is focused on design and development of packaging for Data Center Liquid cooling products, industrial air-conditioners, and electrical enclosures.
Develop designs and documentation for new and existing product packaging by creating 3D models, drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and other documentation to fully define for purchasing and manufacturing.
Work directly with the Packaging Engineers and collaborate with multi-functional teams (Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply, and Customer Support).
Assist in the testing of packaging solutions in the on-site testing lab.
Initiate/prepare Engineering Change Order (ECO) documentation, including drawings and BOM's.
YOU HAVE:
Two-year technical degree, preferably in mechanical design
Ideally 1+ years of experience in CAD design and documentation of components and assemblies.
3D CAD modeling experience using SolidWorks a must
Knowledge of drafting standards
Experience with ENOVIA PLM system a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-orientation
Strong organizational skills and ability to be highly productive with minimal supervision
