Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Commissary Driver Lead to oversee the Commissary Drivers resupplying aircrafts. In addition, this position will be responsible for allocating drivers' assignments as well as ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Commissary Driver Lead Overview:
This role is responsible for operational oversight of the Commissary Drivers resupplying aircrafts. In addition, this position will be responsible for allocating drivers' assignments as well as ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Essential roles and responsibilities of a Commissary Driver Lead:

Direct and coordinate the timely loading and unloading of supplies for in-air service to aircrafts
Allocating driver assignments while ensuring compliance with safety standards
Deliver food and beverage and well as essential supplies to aircraft in an efficient manner
Ability to service International and domestic charter and scheduled flights
Troubleshoot any interruption to normally scheduled and charter gate sheets
Implement organizational objectives as dictated by management
Communicate with multiple departments to increase efficiencies
Any other duties assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
1 Year of relevant work experience
18+ years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to anticipate needs of coworkers and passengers in a fast-paced environment.
Must have the ability to work flexible work hours including availability to work holidays and weekends.
Applicants must be able to pass a mandatory drug screening, complete a ten-year background and security check, hold a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates both indoors and outdoors. When working indoors this position will be working in a warehouse environment. While working outside the employee will be exposed to various weather such as rain, sleet, snow, hot and cold weather. In addition, this position is exposed to loud noises from arriving and departing planes.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will frequently push charts weighing up to 200 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
