Job Description:
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work at locations in Meeker, Renville, Swift, Wilkin, and Kandiyohi Counties in Minnesota.
From: 04/15/2024 to 11/15/2024
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The hours may vary during different times of the crop season. Overtime and taking holiday are mandatory.
Al hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a general farm laborer position. Employees will work on a farm for a farmer maintaining farm systems and grain handling components such as grain bins, augers, dryers, etc. Workers will also assemble/install/service equipment used for grain harvesting while using hand tools and power tools. Workers may operate various types of equipment such as forklifts, skid
loaders, or pickup trucks to transport parts, tools, etc. on the farm.
Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional
work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: No experience required, employer will train. Must be able to obtain Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire. Able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements.
Drug Tests are done post hire at the employer's expense due to the liability of operating expensive and dangerous equipment. Findings of illicit drug use
would be grounds for termination. No high school diploma or GED required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
