Job Description:
SECRETARIES - EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (ESY) PROGRAM for Elementary and Secondary sites

Multiple positions available.

DATES & SUMMER HOURS: June 12 - June 28
June 12 - set-up day
June 17 - June 21, Monday thru Friday, 4 hours per day; NO SCHOOL on June 19th
June 24 - June 28, Monday thru Friday, 4 hours per day

Up to 16 additional hours as needed by the Summer Building Leader, including summer school set-up day on June 12th and training in the Spring.

SITES:
Elementary ESY Centerbased Sites: Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy, Jefferson Elementary, Ramsey Elementary
Secondary Sites: Anoka High, Jackson Middle School, Transition Program(s)
Setting IV Sites for K-12: River Trail Learning Center

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Receptionist - point of contact for the site. Provide general clerical support for ESY site including: Answering phones; attendance; contacting parents; copying; staff support, manage student information database (updates, class rosters, and enrollment, etc.), and other duties as assigned by Summer Building Leader.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Good communication and public relation skills; knowledge of Synergy system preferred. Must be physically working in the building.

RATE OF PAY: New Hires $17.10/hour; Current Secretaries accepting summer school secretarial employment shall be paid at their regular rate through their summer assignment. "Regular Hourly Rate" shall not include stipends for certificates. Summer employment does not affect eligibility for insurance, vacation, sick leave, or any other benefit. Assignments will be made based on students' needs.
