This Position is for a Contracts Manager with a work location in Columbus, MS.

Position Overview

Searching for a talented and self-motivated Contracts Manager to help advance the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

Support the preparation of proposals

Lead all fact finding, audits and negotiations with customers

Manage the contractual side of ongoing programs

Coordinate with other internal functional disciplines

Summarize contractual issues, develop solutions and coordinate contractual risk mitigation

Minimum Requirements

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

A strong working knowledge of the FARs/DFARs, USC and other procurement related regulations

Strong writing skills required

Must be a US Person

Effective communicator with good interpersonal and presentation skills

Background working with prime contractors including developing and negotiating contracts.

Preferred Requirements

BS Degree in business administration, contracts administration or a relevant degree is highly desired.

Strong knowledge of and experience working with DCAA and DCMA is a plus.

Working knowledge of Export Control Regulations (ITAR and EAR) is a plus.

Experience supporting proposal work.

Working knowledge of spreadsheets.

NCMA membership and certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear proper PPE.

Work onsite in Columbus, MS.
