ManpowerGroup Control Panel Technician in Chaska, Minnesota
An industrial machine manufacturer is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join their team. This role will be responsible for low voltage and high voltage wiring installation within the machinery. Candidates from a control panel wiring or assembly background should apply. Due to the company’s size this role will need to be a jack of all trades amongst electrical and mechanical duties. This position will also have some travel (6 trips per year) to client sites for installation and troubleshooting. This is a direct hire role located in Chanhassen, MN.
Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Chanhassen, MN
Pay Rate: 32-35hr, depends on experience
Key Responsibilities
Read mechanical drawings and electric schematics to ensure product specification and tolerances are met.
Troubleshoot equipment, manage calibration and preventive maintenance processes; which include process documentation and production records.
Equipment programming, setup and operation for manufacturing to ensure product specifications are met.
Design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing by collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
Perform mechanical assembly and fabrication
Requirements
AAS degree or equivalent, in a technical discipline; mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred.
2+ years of panel building and wiring experience is mandatory
Ability to be a jack of all trades engineering technician for industrial products
10% travel (6 trips per years, trips can be domestic and international)
