Job Summary:
As the Program Manager, you will provide support to individuals accessing the PICS services. This position requires regular interaction with a variety of people, including participants and their families, county staff, support planners, other provider agencies, internal PICS staff and internal LSS staff. This position will also provide support and expertise to the PICS Service Coordinator staff.
This position will be responsible for maintaining systems and policies related to PICS' services. This position must work collaboratively with the HR, billing, and payroll departments at PICS in order to effectively promote a collaborative work environment. This position also works closely with various LSS departments. This position will facilitate process improvements and provide appropriate training, supervision and support to Service Coordinator staff.
Job Requirements:
Four-year degree and social services coursework preferred.
Training and experience working with people with disabilities and their families is preferred.
Knowledge of resources and support available to participants preferred.
Experience in waivered service program coordination/management and other programs offered by MN DHS is preferred, background in the area of self-directed services and licensed services a plus.
Ability to learn new software and technology is required.
Must be able to perform a variety of on-going tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Ability to manage team and workload in a hybrid remote environment.
Must have a valid driver's license and/or the ability to travel locally and throughout greater Minnesota.
