Global Headquarters in Racine, WI, the Corporate EHS Engineer will lead
EHS program implementation for the Racine campus and provide support to
regional manufacturing sites. The Corporate EHS Engineer is recognized
within Modine as a technical expert for governmental and company EHS
requirements. This individual will partner with managers and supervisors
to support and drive EHS compliance and Sustainability initiatives. A
strong track record of accomplishments related to OSHA and EPA
compliance, chemical safety, sustainable environmental practices, and
injury/illness prevention is preferred. Experience with environmental
remediation preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Ensure
compliance to all applicable governmental regulations and internal EH&S
policies Follow emerging regulatory developments, assess their potential
impact on the company, and institute programs to achieve compliance in
an efficient manner Share accountability and responsibility with
management to provide guidance and leadership in identifying
opportunities to continuously improve performance and attain EH&S
objectives Provide effective internal communication of EH&S issues
Actively promote and foster a Behavior-Based Safety culture dedicated to
eliminating \"at risk\" behaviors and unsafe conditions Provide
technical environmental expertise in combination with knowledge of the
company\'s manufacturing and business processes to minimize waste
Possess understanding and apply available technology and equipment to
control and mitigate air and water pollution Collect, analyze, and
utilize EH&S metrics to eliminate environmental and safety risks and
