Job Description

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview: The Quality Specialist is a key contributor
to the overall success of the company\'s Quality Management System. The
Quality Specialist generates and maintains quality system documents,
performs internal quality system audits, and tracks training to ensure
employees are kept current as processes are updated. Responsibilities:
Maintain quality system documents Updated existing documents as new
information becomes available Log document changes Distribute the
updated documents Remove the obsoleted documents Generate quality system
documents Under the direction of subject matter experts, generate
inspection instructions to be used by Quality Technicians when
inspecting product Under the direction of subject matter experts,
generate work instructions to be used by employees when assembling
and/or testing product Support internal audit program Schedule internal
audits according to the over-all plan Follow up with auditors to ensure
audits are being completed in a timely manner and documented correctly
Perform internal quality management system audits to determine if
management processes are in place and functioning well \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Relevant
associates degree and 3 years minimum similar experience OR 6 years
similar experience is required Prior experience with document management
software (for example: QT-9, Sequence, DocuPhase, Optix, Qualio, DocStar
ECM) is a plus. Skills and Abilities: Read, analyze, and interpret a
variety of information, such as technical procedures, business
correspondence, and blueprints, furnished in written, oral or diagram
form. Create and edit business-level written correspondence, verbally
present information to supervisors and peers, and train employees. Use
basic measurement instruments, such as tape measure, caliper, etc.
Requires job related software skills, MS Office, and the ability to
