Hi! We're the Writing Studio at American Greetings.
It's our job to give people the words to make someone smile, laugh, or even cry a little. If you have a strong voice that makes people listen; if you understand how to pair authentic language with art to create the perfect message; if you like delving into how people communicate and are just a little bit nerdy about grammar and punctuation - we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate for this internship will be an amazing writer, conceptor, and storyteller who is highly creative, curious, proactive, energetic, detail-oriented, and strategic. They'll be responsible for ideating, writing, and editing cards and celebration products across a variety of occasions, tones, and topics.
They'll participate in thoughtful debate about topics such as the lifecycle of slang, pop culture, generational differences, and the idiosyncrasies of English spelling.
They'll work with mentors to gain valuable experience working in a creative environment, collaborate with designers, get constructive feedback about their writing skills and professionalism, and learn how to make the world a more thoughtful and caring place.
