Director, Large Customer Sales, France

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in sales coaching of Sales Managers and Sellers, and leading an organization through direct report managers.
  • Experience delivering business results with experience of driving operational aptitude across teams.
  • Experience growing and scaling businesses.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams that consist of multiple levels of management, i.e. teams that have scale and are a magnet for talent.
  • Digital/online work experience.
  • Project management experience and/or ability to deliver across a variety of teams.
  • Market experience in France, with established executive-level relationships and visible market presence.
  • Ability to communicate in French fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in French with local stakeholders.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Increase business by growing Google’s relationships with key current online advertisers, and identify and acquire new clients within the less penetrated segments of the marketplace.
  • Work closely with our customers to develop and implement new approaches to improve Google’s account management practices.
  • Lead and mentor the team, developing their skills in areas such as relationship-building, account strategy and planning, opportunity identification, and solution selling.
  • Develop and process improve a flexible sales model that balances best-practice methods with Google’s unique culture. Contribute to the executive management team at Google, and engage with key multidisciplinary stakeholders, both external and internal, including Marketing, Engineering, and Product Development.
