Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring for a direct hire civil engineer role in the Minneapolis area. This is with a large energy utility company and a great opportunity to build a team and department within the civil engineering department. Come in at the ground level and build it up! Civil Engineer:
Direct hire perm . Relocation package available and negotiable per person
Transmission distribution
Servicing other very large energy/utility clients
Building electrical infrastructure for these companies
Transmission and distribution world
Civil role—
Building and development on site
Storm water and water run off mapping and safety
Site conditions type of engineering (design and analysis)
Both in office and site visits
Office and 20% travel to local sites etc
Working in substation type of environment
Will be building out Civil Engineer department and team
Room for development
Need to have strong communication and organization as will be working with other higher up clients
Need Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited school.
If not ABET accredited prefer PE license
Masters degree nice to have
Civil engineer software :
Autocad
Microstation
Some storm water design would be a plus
Nice to have GIS element piece
8+ years of experience needed
