As a Human Resources Technician in the Human Resources division, you will provide advanced support for HR systems, reporting and staff. Duties will include:

  • Handling confidential matters;

  • Process Human Resources transactions;

  • Conducts new employee orientation;

  • Assist in the administration of benefits;

  • Interpret and administer bargaining agreements and compensation plans;

  • Provide data maintenance of human resources tracking and reporting systems.

Minimum Qualifications

1 year of experience performing HR functions

Experience must include:

  • Use of SEMA4 or other similar HR systems

  • Processing personnel transactions such as position changes, appointments, leaves, separations, etc.

  • HR reporting sufficient to create, modify and run electronic reports

  • Benefits administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Oracle Business Intelligency Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)

  • Experience interpreting personnel laws, rules and administrative procedures

  • Experience administering, interpreting and applying the provisions of collective bargaining

  • Demonstrated evidence of working in, supporting or with diverse populations

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and address problems with confidentiality, diplomacy and integrity
