3 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 02/15/2024 - 11/20/2024 Under direction of supervisor, worker will perform any combination of tasks involved in the operation of tractors and farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray and/or harvest fruit & vegetables such as; apples, peaches, tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, squash, cucumbers and peppers. Attach farm implements to tractors and drive tractors in fields to prepare soil, plant, fertilize, mow grass, cut brush, plant young trees, spraying fruit trees and plants and/or harvest crops. Drives tractor or truck to transport materials, supplies and products. Make adjustments and minor repairs to machinery. Mix chemical ingredients and spray fruit trees to control insects, fungus, weeds or diseases. Remove excess growth using pruning saws and clippers. Irrigate soil. Pick fruit & vegetables during harvest. Thin blossoms and immature fruit. Prop limbs to prevent breakage. Operate frost protection equipment. Must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs on a consistent basis throughout the day. While working in the field, all cell phone usage is limited to emergency use only. Due to health and safety concerns on a farm, worker must understand basic instructions in English. Workers referred as a result of this order must have a minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience in performing the tasks described in this order. Requirements: * Must have a minimum of six months verifiable experience in performing the tasks in this order. * Lifting requirement of 75 lbs. * Exposure to extreme temps, * Repetitive movements, extensive walking/sitting, frequent stooping/bending over.
