We are on the lookout for a meticulous and organized Receptionist for our client based in Metairie, Louisiana. As a Receptionist, your role will encompass handling incoming phone calls, greeting visitors, and providing high-quality customer service. You will also be tasked with the distribution of incoming mail in accordance with established procedures and providing general office support within a legal setting. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide a warm welcome to visitors upon their arrival
• Efficiently manage all incoming phone calls
• Address inquiries, ensuring customer service excellence
• Distribute incoming mail following specified procedures
• Maintain various office files and execute general office filing tasks
• Offer support to staff with overflow work, including data entry, word processing, and internet research tasks
• Monitor and take necessary action on customer accounts
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain precise customer credit records
• Proficiency in operating switchboard phones with 1 - 10 lines
• Possession of basic office skills including administrative tasks, filing, and record keeping
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word for document creation and editing
• Understanding of the legal industry and its terminologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
