Overview
At Esri, our solution engineer managers provide leadership to highly skilled
technical teams that promote and sell the adoption of Esri technology in
partnership with account and sales managers and other internal teams. We
invite you to use your coaching and team-building skills, as well as your
experience with geospatial technology, to become an integral part of the
infrastructure management team. We are looking for an individual who can
inspire and motivate others and who leads by example. You'll have the
opportunity to build the framework in which our solution engineers will chart
their career at Esri and the technology infrastructure required to support
business development activities.
Responsibilities
Empower your team. Manage the technical activities of your team by working
with account and sales managers to strategically lead all technical stages of
the sales process. Mentor your team through active coaching, clear
direction, and regular feedback. Cultivate a virtual team of solution
engineers, strategic partners, and cross-divisional resources to support
your team's sales objectives and generate results.
Support key engagements. Lead staff to develop, deliver and engage on
strategic Esri Events, tradeshows, conferences, and executive
engagements that will promote thought leadership in the geospatial industry.
Build relationships. Work across the team to support a healthy pipeline of
business growth opportunities.
Understand our customers. Demonstrate electric, gas, telecom, or rails
industry knowledge and its relevance to the application of GIS. Identify key
