Job Description

Busy center on the Gulf Coast is installing a new TrueBeam with HyperArc and looking to hire two new radiation therapists.

At Coastal Bend Cancer Center we treat every patient like family and give them the respect, kindness, and care they deserve. We are looking for radiation therapists willing to help patients fight cancer and learn new techniques.

Job description
As a Radiation Therapist with Coastal Bend Cancer Center, you will administer radiation therapy treatments under the direct supervision of the Radiation Oncologist. Fabricate immobilization devices, blocks, and CT simulate patients. Must be able to problem-solve, accurately set up, treat and simulate treatment positions.

Position Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited radiation technology program
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), will consider new graduates from a Radiation Therapy program.
Must have a current Medical Radiologic Technologist license with Texas Medical Board or show proof that the process has been started.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills.
Working knowledge of computers and basic software applications.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and in high-stress situations.
