Bio-Techne Marketing Account Manager in Abingdon, Minnesota

An Account Manager within an internal agency structure is the bridge between the client and the agency’s internal teams, ensuring effective communication, project delivery, and overall client satisfaction. The role requires a combination of interpersonal skills, project management capabilities, and a solid understanding of marketing strategies and campaigns.

This proposed position would foster partnerships with internal product and brand marketing clients. You would operate as the primary point of contact to support internal partner marketing needs, facilitating intake to the internal agency.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between the agency and internal clients. Take in campaign briefs and marketing tactic requests, ensuring a clear picture of the work to be done, in partnership with the team Producer.

• Understand marketing strategy for assigned business areas, working closely with internal clients to understand business objectives, marketing goals and overall strategy. This would involve conducting meetings, gathering requirements, and ensuring a clear understanding of the client’s vision.

• Translate tactical needs to Documents of Record, ensuring seamless project details are handed off to populate the marketing work management platform.

• Coordinate campaign brief kick-off calls with designers, copywriters, digital team members, automation specialists and web team members to ensure alignment with the brief.

• Build campaigns into SFDC, following naming conventions to ensure reporting requirements.

• Oversee the creative process, from briefing to presentation, and production through implementation.

• Function as the go-between for the creative team and business units. When issues or challenges arise during the course of a project, this role would work to resolve them efficiently. This may involve addressing client concerns, revising project timelines, or finding alternative solutions to meet client expectations.

• Assist the internal agency team and internal clients navigate unclear or competing priorities, with an eye toward maximizing resources and delivering high-quality deliverables.

• Manage campaign data and provide clients with regular updates on campaign performance, utilizing analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role may also conduct post-campaign analyses to assess the success of marketing initiatives.

• Ensure all deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

• 5+ years of marketing account management experience

• Experience working within a creative / marketing agency is preferred.

• Proven experience building and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Adept at ensuring effective communication between multiple teams.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate challenges and successfully work to resolve them.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
