Robert Half is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Accounts Payable Specialist with expertise in subcontractor accounts and Work-in-Progress (WIP) billing. This role, based in California, offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced construction finance environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounts payable, specifically for subcontractors, along with a solid understanding of general ledger functions, debits and credits, and WIP billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable for subcontractors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.
• Oversee WIP billing, tracking progress payments and ensuring proper documentation for ongoing construction projects.
• Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial records and reporting.
• Communicate with subcontractors to resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment issues.
• Support the finance team with month-end closing tasks and assist in financial reporting related to construction projects.

Qualifications
