Description

The Administrative Nursing Admission Coordinator has the primary responsibility of assigning bed placement for patients requiring admission to acute care and critical care units at the First Hill campus. This will include admissions from emergency departments, direct admits and inter-unit transfers. Surgical patients (in the case of add on procedures and/or changes to admission) as well as pediatrics, patients to CDU and admissions from outside facilities, will filter through this process.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree - Applicants without a BSN degree must actively pursue and attain a BSN within two years of hire. Continued employment by Swedish beyond two years is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree.
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
5 years - RN experience in either ED, ICU and/or 5 years Acute Care Inpatient Nursing.

Leadership experience.
