Position summary:

  • This position holder is responsible for all distribution operations (i.e. warehousing, consignment management, Outbound logistics of finished goods, / Loander instruments etc.)
  • This position holder is required to achieve cost / service quality improvement throughout logistics flow.
  • This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders including, Commercial, RAQA, EA&APAC teams, Finance, IT etc.)
  • This job requires comprehensive experience, understanding of concepts and principles in logistics, inventory management, ERP management, project management.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

Logistics Operations

  • Make sure of all warehouse processes are correctly, efficiently performed. (inbound, stockkeeping, outbound, delivery processes, In & Out process of non-conforming products and keep tracking of records)
  • Lead annual & ad-hoc inventory-taking processes (incl. consignment) and make sure inventory information in ERP is up-to-date
  • Comply with all logistics related laws and regulations.

Kit management Supervision

  • Provide leadership and oversee overall kit room operations. (order taking, customer facing, inventory management, kit build operation, distribution flow)
  • Bring kit room operation efficiency improvement, investment optimization, and service level improvement, in compliance with quality guidelines.

Service provider management

  • Lead / support all Logistics service provider selection processes (3PL, outbound logistics, consignment stock management service provider, etc.)
  • Monitor service provider performances with KPIs, and define areas to improve.
  • Be updated of logistics market information, and make sure that SKL partners’ service quality and costs are competitive against market players. 

Project / Process management

  • Continuously seek for improvement area and define and lead actions for optimization across all logistics flow.
  • Manage standardized process documentation and make sure all processes are correctly described and well aligned with stakeholders

Logistics System Super Key User

  • Build good knowledge material management module in JDE, and provide training, if required.
  • Seek for system enhancement chances and lead communication with IT teams.

* This position's main location is our Warehouse in Gimpo

    Job Requirement

    • +12 years of working experience (or equivalent) and knowledge on SCM and international trade
    • Working experience on Customer clearance(especially on import) is required
    • Own warehouse management experience is plus, 3PL selection/ implementation/ management experiences is minimal requirements  
    • Hands-on experience in ERP (JDE, SAP and BI ), MS programs
    • ISO Audit experience is plus 
    • Good analytic and quantitative skills
    • Good command of English written and spoken
    • Work together, build teams, connect and collaborate effectively with other functions.
    • People-manager experience is plus
    • Process-oriented, Integrity, Compliance
    • Result-driven approach with ability to perform under pressure
    • Agile and adjust plans as required
