Job Description
Design, build and implement a set of analytics applications and infrastructure to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and software. Perform data analysis to assist software teams on both higher-level strategic and product-level decision. Construct data pipelines using business intelligence tools. Apply data mining and data modeling to extract, analyze and manipulate data from large datasets using statistical software. Assess complex data systems and programs in support of ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests. Conduct comprehensive data analysis on existing data using SQL to extract actionable insights. Implement data cleansing by identifying and correcting data discrepancies. Develop and maintain SQL queries, views, procedures, triggers for routine and ad-hoc data sync, data validation checks, extraction, and analysis between all systems. Create and maintain dashboards and reports showing various metrics and statistics for internal teams. Perform route cause analysis on data related errors by monitoring and analyzing error logs. Experience must include: Python, SQL Server, MySQL, ServiceNow, Tableau, R, MS Excel, Putty, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering (Any), or related with 1 year of relevant IT experience as a Computer/Engineering Professional. In lieu of the above, will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering (Any) or related plus 5 years of progressive IT experience as a Computer/Engineering Professional. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. Job locations in Hoboken, NJ & may involve relocation to various unanticipated client sites across the U.S.
