JOB REQUIREMENTS: Gundersen Health System is seeking a board
certified/board eligible Primary Care Physician to join our Prairie du
Chien Clinic. The medical staff includes 2 physicians and 5 APCs. The
Gundersen Prairie du Chien clinic practices state-of-the art medicine
and connects you with the entire Gundersen Health System with
telemedicine and a system-wide integrated electronic medical record
(Epic). Practice Highlights: Flexible schedule with the opportunity to
work part-time or full-time Outpatient only practice Average patient
volume 14-18 per day Nursing home call (by phone only) 1:7 24-hour
specialist consultation available High patient survey scores

Pharmacy About Prairie du Chien Prairie du Chien is the oldest community
on the Upper Mississippi River. Its rich heritage and traditions are a
delight to visitors and residents alike. The city is filled with sites
of historic significance, many are located on St. Feriole Island, which
is one of the city\'s earliest settlements. Prairie is a town of 6,100
located in the beautiful bluff country of Wisconsin. There are numerous
state and national parks within 15 miles, with many opportunities for
outdoor activities including hiking, hunting, fishing, biking, skiing,
golf and much more! Gundersen Health System Gundersen is a
physician-influenced, integrated health system with 1000+ clinicians
serving over 650,000 residents in western Wisconsin, southeastern
Minnesota, and northeastern Iowa. We are a teaching hospital with
excellent support for research. We serve as the Western Academic Campus
for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Gundersen has a robust Medical Education department with over 100
residents and fellows, including a Family Medicine Residency and Family
Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship, Internal Medicine Residency and more.
Gundersen was the first known health system in the U.S. to offset 100%
of our fossil fuel energy use through locally generated energy. Must
have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be
board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated.In
addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our
multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.Medical staff in
our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians.Medical staff may
need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the
system.Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is
cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of
