Job Description
Date of Need: 5/27/2024 to 11/26/2024
Work may include, but not limited to the planting and harvesting of tobacco. Duties may include: cut or pull away tops, leaves, and suckers from plants during growing season, applying fertilizer and general use pesticides under the supervision of a licensed applicator, set up poles, string wires and secure plants and set up cloth netting, cleaning and handling harvested products. May set up, operate and repair farm equipment, repair tent and farm buildings, and may participate in irrigation activities. Must be able to work in a barn tying, hanging, and swaying tobacco; work in greenhouse with plants and flowers. 1 month experience required in work listed.
