JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 20747 THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO
UNIVERSITIES OF WISCONSIN EMPLOYEES POSITION SUMMARY: This position
provides direct support for multiple grants within the Institute for
Business & Entrepreneurship (IBE) Strategic Projects unit, development &
management of a statewide UW Student clinic initiative, and data
management to ensure compliance with grant requirements. The position
will work collaboratively will all IBE programs and statewide
stakeholders, to identify resources that will enhance and complement
grant deliverables. The focus of this position will be Wisconsin
entrepreneurs who are looking to start or grow their businesses through
customized initiatives and connection to the Universities of Wisconsin
(UW)resources. Primary objectives include: the development of a
statewide student clinic initiative that will provide financial
projections and marketing support, management of four capital readiness
annual accelerator cohorts for women entrepreneurs, small business
clinics throughout the state, IT management for specific program needs,
and grant compliance for all current and future initiatives. This is a
full-time position that will report directly to the IBE Strategic
Projects Director. The position will require working closely with others
in the Institute, across the UWs, and various statewide, regional, and
local organizations that support entrepreneurs and small businesses. The
position may be funded by multiple sponsored projects including
co-sponsorships. Hybrid or remote telecommuting may be available.
Preference will be given to Wisconsin residents. Travel around Wisconsin
and occasional out of state travel is expected. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Student Clinic 50% The program manager will build upon two successful
programs developed through CARES and Mainstreet Bounce Back funding.
Student clinics provide WI entrepreneurs access to accounting/marketing
students, who under the guidance of CPA/Faculty, complete customized
projects that prepare clients to be lender ready or explore ways to
increase their marketing capacity. This is a complex role that will
require experience working with students, management of client
expectations, knowledge of capital readiness requirements and general
marketing strategies. Recruit, onboard, and supervise/manage students
across multiple UW campuses in areas of financial projections and
marketing strategies Develop operational policies, procedures and best
practices that can be transferred to students/faculty across the
Universities of Wisconsin Work closely with the UW Eau Claire Captial
Access Team for streamlined expansion of the program to a statewide
level program Manage additional staff (CPAs, Student Manager) as the
program expands to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables
Accelerator Program Management 30% One way to develop customized
training is through accelerator programs. This requires a deep
understanding of the cohort model, target audience, and resources to
advance business growth. A highly collaborative approach that
incorporates local resources, proven strategies, technology, and
management of each participant\'s expectations is essential to this
position. Management of accelerator platform (ex: Innovation Within) for
cohort participants Work closely with the strategic projects learning
navigators to support customized curriculum development Work
collaboratively with the strategic projects team on the triage of
applicants, selection of cohort participants, management of
deliverables, and reporting requirements Program Management 20% To

QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this
position, applicants must have: Master\'s degree in business or related
field Experience managing students or higher education outreach
initiatives Experience in business development, strategic planning,
marketing strategies, or business consulting Experience running or
participating in accelerator programs that incorporate Lean Startup
methodology Experience with the use of online tools to manage cohort
participation and program deliverables Knowledge of resource providers
throughout the statewide entrepreneurial and small business ecosystem
Data and grant management experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Well
qualified applicants will also have a substantial amount of experience
in a combination of the following: Experience running entrepreneurial
programs that provide education, access to capital, and business pitch
opportunities Experience with discovery and/or implementation of
collaborative workplace tools, modernized technology, and/or AI
integration to enhance operations Five or more years managing grant
