Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities | The primary teaching responsibilities for this position will include teaching general and/or organic chemistry courses and labs as needed. Responsibilities include preparing for lecture and other learning activities, preparation for laboratory activities, supervision of laboratory teaching assistants, grading of exams and other assignments, and assignment of grades. |
Minimum Education Requirements | Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related field is required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered. |
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements | |
Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications | One year of experience as an instructor or teaching assistant in organic chemistry in a university setting. |
