The Department of Statistics at the University of South Carolina, Columbia invites applications for an open rank faculty position (tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate/Full Professor). All research areas in statistics will be considered, and applicants with expertise in modern data science are especially encouraged to apply. Appointment will commence August 16, 2022. 
Required Education and Experience
Applicants must have a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related field by the start date of employment to be considered for  Assistant Professor.  Applicants for Associate or Full Professor must also have an established record of excellence in research, teaching, and service to the profession.
