Event Maintenance staff

Adecco is hiring for maintenance event staff here in the NYC area!

Here is the job overview for the role

Event Setup & Preparation:

• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and dining setups according to event specifications.

• Ensure lighting, temperature, and ambiance are properly adjusted for guest comfort.

During Event Maintenance & Support:

• Monitor cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, and common spaces.

• Respond to spills, trash removal, and supply restocking to maintain a pristine environment.

• Assist staff with moving or adjusting furniture, equipment, or décor as needed.

Post-Event Breakdown & Cleanup:

• Dismantle and store tables, chairs, and event materials properly.

• Ensure all dining and service areas are thoroughly cleaned and reset for the next event.

• Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.

• Conduct post-event inspections to report any damages or maintenance needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in event setup, housekeeping, or maintenance is a plus.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced banquet or event setting, both indoor and outdoor work may be required.

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

• Exposure to noise, crowds, and varying temperatures

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
