    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky. The role focuses on overseeing payroll accounting processes and interfacing with various departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.

    Responsibilities
    • Oversee the process of recording payroll expenses and related accruals to the General Ledger (GL) accurately.
    • Collaborate with IT and payroll processing teams to ensure accurate and timely data submissions into the GL.
    • Conduct detailed analytical reviews of expenses and associated accrivals on a monthly basis.
    • Interface with departments such as HR, Financial Planning & Analysis, and operational teams to support account balance and statistical fluctuations.
    • Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring proper preparation and follow-up on unusual items.
    • Communicate critical information to stakeholders and executive management.
    • Lead a team of payroll accounting senior associates and associates, providing supervision and guidance.
    • Review and enhance internal accounting processes in line with the overall organizational goals.
    • Support the accounting team during the quarterly and annual audit processes for the company and various subsidiaries, including research and provision of requested documentation.
    • Manage the storage and maintenance of all accounting documentation, ensuring proper organization.
    • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting sector
    • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role
    • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a requirement
    • Comprehensive knowledge of standard accounting functions is necessary
    • Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
    • Prior experience in auditing is a must-have for this position
    • Ability to handle billing functions efficiently is expected
    • Experience with Oracle and Oracle Fusion is a key requirement
    • In-depth understanding of the General Ledger is necessary
