Required Skills: | Qualifications: 2+ years of experience drafting commercial casework or closely related products Knowledge of cabinet construction and basic woodworking skills a plus Ability to read architectural drawings and prints Trained in the use of AutoCAD. Solidworks experience a plus! Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Dedicated, well organized, able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook TradeSoft is a plus but not required Ability to work on-site in Lonsdale, MN |

Most core hours are M-Th 7:30a-5:00p, Fridays until noon. We seek an onsite Sr. Drafter who can add value to the organization and mesh with our dynamic, creative, and hardworking New Business team. To be successful, you must be able to work independently guided by a team of project managers, estimators, other engineers, have the ability to change pace and tasks based on current needs, and take ownership of your work advocating for your customer and the company product.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Produce shop approval drawings for projects and revise them as required Preparation of material orders as required for projects Produce preliminary designs when needed to qualify price quotes Source materials as requested Interact with account managers, designers, architects, and other customer agents as required to complete design and drawing work. Perform field measurements or site visits as needed Communicate with production staff with design and project details
