SURVICE Engineeringis seeking aRobotics Software Engineerto be a part of a small, dynamic research team providing Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance support to our Army Research Laboratory customer.

Job Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Specific Duties:Responsibilities will include creating and modifying software to enable and demonstrate new capabilities in cyberphysical systems. Excelling at the fundamentals of software development, including code structuring, debugging, and documenting is a requirement as well as being comfortable working with embedded hardware.

Candidates must be comfortable working as part of a team, including working with version controlled, shared development spaces, working with team members of diverse backgrounds, articulating project needs and constraints to team members of other technical disciplines, and mentoring. Willingness to travel to support fieldwork and support outdoor experiments is also required.

Minimum Required Education/Qualifications:

• Candidates should have a BS or MS in computer science or a related field.
• Preference may be given to candidates with experience with Linux, C, C++, Python, Gitlab, Docker, machine learning, or embedded systems.
