13 Fulltime Seasonal H-2A Jobs Available 03/25/2024- 12/07/2024. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information about crops; Participate in the sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as covering feed bunks with plastic and tires; Repair, clean, and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as corn and hay; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer's fields, load employer's crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping, such as pick stones, mow, trim lawns with string trimmer, clear brush, and trim bushes and trees; Maintain inventory; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures such as waterers, feed bunks, headlocks, stalls, and corrals; Mix specified materials or chemicals and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter, harvester, or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using bolts and hand tools; Set up, operate, and maintain manure irrigation/injection equipment including moving hoses and running pumps; Move snow. Requirements: * 3 Months experience required for the job duties listed. * Driver requirements - must be able to obtain appropriate CDL license and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks following hire. * Exposure to extreme temperatures * Lifting requirement of 75 lbs. * Repetitive movement, frequent stooping, and extensive walking. * Drug screen - post-hire random drug test at employers expense.
