department leadership, performs clerical and other technical lab duties
in an efficient, timely and accurate manner, with quality that exceeds
customer expectations. Demonstrates the ability to take initiative and
drive productivity and support others with direction, training, and
mentorship. Performs advanced customer service tasks, executed at high
service level. Aligns to and supports Versiti\'s mission, vision, and
values as well as department goals and objectives. Understands to a high
degree the importance of daily tasks performed and the impact they have
on the patients and providers we work with to provide lifesaving
diagnostic services. Responsibilities Understand and perform to all
applicable regulatory and compliance requirements. Participate in
regulatory audits, as needed. Ship, receive, and track packages and
specimens while maintaining the integrity of samples, as needed.
Receive, classify, and process specimens in an accurate and expedient
manner. Inspect specimens and paperwork for accuracy and acceptability
and maintain sample identity and ensure samples are handled and stored
at appropriate temperatures to prevent loss of sample. Use appropriate
systems to accurately perform data entry functions. Proofread own work
for content, spelling, accuracy, and document format. Maintain sample
integrity and ensure proper identification of all specimens. Prepare
