Google Workspace Sales Specialist, Government, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in SaaS/Cloud Computing Sales focusing on government clients.
  • 4 years of experience in SaaS or Collaboration and Productivity tools business.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Direct Sales Management experience in the Colombian, Central America, and Caribbean Market.
  • Experience planning, pitching, and executing business and customer transformation strategy aligned to data and analytics.
  • Knowledge of platforms and Cloud technologies.

In this role, you will collaborate with government and education clients in Central America and the Caribbean to aid in their digital transformation goals. This will involve presenting strategic projects that incorporate the adoption of Google Applications. As the Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining C-level relationships with clients and identifying projects that have the potential to drive business improvement. Once a project has been identified, you will be tasked with pursuing the opportunity and engaging additional stakeholders to ensure its success.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Deliver against business and pipeline goals, prioritizing an outstanding customer experience. Discover and understand customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
  • Prospect, qualify, develop, and establish business opportunities and develop territory strategies to be successful at accelerating the business cycle.
  • Work with wider Google Account teams, such as Field Sales Representatives, Customer Engineers, Program team, and Partner managers to generate and develop business growth.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Work closely with Google Partners to scale demand generation and maximize business results in the territory. Provide guidance to develop campaigns to drive pipeline, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
