    Robert Half Finance & Accounting is working on an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper with a small public accounting client located in the Stuart/Hobe Sound area. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting process for our clients, from beginning to end. This includes managing trial balances, payroll returns, loan statements, bank reconciliations, and data entry tasks. Outside of having public accounting experience, the client would consider candidates from a multi-company or multi-entity environment.


    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and reconcile trial balances

    • Tie out a client loan statement

    • Handle payroll returns and manage associated records

    • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records

    • Carry out data entry tasks as required

    • Utilize QuickBooks and Thompson Reuters Accounting CS for accounting tasks

    • Use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook for various administrative tasks

    • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Prepare and post journal entries as necessary

    • Minimum of 5 years of recent and relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience

    • Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle accounting

    • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

    • Experience in Bank Reconciliations is necessary

    • Ability to handle Journal Entries accurately and efficiently

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online is a plus

    • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
