Actalent Controls Engineer in SAINT PAUL, Minnesota

Description:

• Participate on cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative and feasible design concepts of special equipment or components which will economically and reliably meet project requirements and cost constraints

• Responsible for satisfying the controls design requirements

• Prepare electrical drawings and control panel layouts.

• PLC programming using Rockwell automation control platforms

• HMI programming using Rockwell FactoryTalk View products

• Maintain and develops corporate design standards.

• Provide technical support to customers

• Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.

Skills:

Automation, Allen-Bradley, Controls engineering, plc programming, electrical design, AutoCAD electrical, process control, UL

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or related field preferred

• 2+ years of process controls engineering experience

• Experience with programming Allen-Bradley PLC platforms

• Experience with programming Allen-Bradley FT View ME and SE platforms

• Ability to use AutoCAD Electrical for industrial control panel design

• Experience in applying of UL508A, and applicable NFPA codes

• Willingness and ability to travel 30% of the time
