Wood County Advanced Orthopedics, a subsidiary of Wood County Hospital, is now accepting applications for an Office Manager. The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day operations in his/her practice(s), assures that all medical equipment and all other physical properties are maintained and are in good operational condition, and effectively plans and directs center operations by coordinating business office and clinical activities to achieve maximum expense control and productivity of staff and physicians/providers.

Job Duties:

  • Demonstrates exceptional leadership, customer service, and communication skills to set an example for direct reports.
  • Effectively communicates and implements Wood Health Company's policies and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains (hard copy and electronically) policies, procedures and standards pertaining to the operation of the company and in line with HCFA, JCAHO and other standards.
  • Performs credentialing duties as they are related to completing insurance applications, contacting and follow-up with the carriers.
  • Performs training of all new processes and policies related to government regulations, such as OSHA, CLIA, HIPPA, etc.
  • Assists in ensuring compliance with State, Federal and other regulatory agencies.
  • Supervises daily workflow of all employees.


Shift Details:

Hours: 40 hours per week
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or a high school graduate with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a physician office required.
