Job Description:
We at Digital People are currently looking for someone that has an innovative approach and can share ideas through visual and audio story creation as a Social Media Content Writer. If this sounds like you, please keep reading!
As a Social Media Content Writer, you will collaborate with social strategists to produce and publish planned and reactive social content tailored for audiences across current (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) and emerging social media platforms.
Responsibilities
Shoot and produce video and photo content for social media channels with a strong understanding of trending and successful storytelling specific to social platforms. Partner with the various teams to construct and implement quick, reactive content. Effectively coordinate the workflow and schedule of story assignments. Collaborate with key partners to take content ideas from conception to execution leveraging brands, UGC, influencer and original assets leveraging Adobe creative tools and mobile apps (CapCut, In Shot, Canva, Over, Unfold) and existing platform features to reflect the way people are creating content across social. Provide support in publishing of social content across channels and platforms and be proficient in publishing best-practices.



Requirements
* This is a hybrid role, must live in Twin Cities area.
* College degree required
* 1-3 years relevant work experience
* Prior experience and effectiveness in short-form video for TikTok/IG Reels and mobile-first production social content. Ideally experience is in Food & Beverage, Beauty, Fashion and Home categories.
* Submit portfolio of concepted and produced visual content for social.
* Strong interest in social media, pop culture and retail
