Candidates must be eager to learn with the ability to contribute sound ideas and quality work product in an extremely fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.The marketing intern will develop and implement marketing collateral aligned with the strategic direction and positioning of our firm. This role works with internal partners across all business lines to plan, execute and manage marketing collateral that supports client acquisition and retention. S/he will work 40 hours per week at the Piper Sandler downtown Minneapolis office from May - September 2024.The position requires a precise attention to detail and design acumen. It will involve helping with creation of external digital and print materials including, advertisements, brochures, fact sheets, conference collateral, email communications and website updates. Additional tasks and projects may arise as needed.The marketing intern works under the direction of the creative manager.Essential QualificationsExperience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and DreamweaverSolid organizational, communication and multi-tasking skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPointHighly attentive to detailCopywriting or editing experienceAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines and requests simultaneouslyDesired QualificationsExperience working within brand guidelinesExperience in print and online marketing productionFamiliarity with AP editing styleBasic knowledge of HTML and CSSExperience with video editing, Microsoft Sharepoint, ExactTarget and/or analytics softwareBachelor's degree majoring in graphic design or related fieldOur human capital, technology, marketing and other corporate support teams work with our business partners to maximize each employee.
