Overview




Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Program Manager to manage a large team of Government contractors in Academia, Engineering, Financial, Logistics, Cybersecurity, Civil Engineering and Administrative support. These professionals provide direct on-site support for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), primarily at Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio with resources located at Barksdale AFB Louisiana and Kirtland AFB New Mexico.

The Air Force Institute of Technology, with its main campus located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the Department of the Air Force's leader for advanced, multi-disciplinary academic education, as well as its institution for initial technical and professional continuing education. A component of Air University and Air Education and Training Command, AFIT is committed to providing defense-focused graduate education and related research, and operationally-relevant initial skills training and professional continuing education to sustain the technological supremacy of America's air, space, and cyber forces. Since 2008, AFIT has been designated as the Air Force's Cyber Technical Center of Excellence.

AFIT accomplishes this mission through four schools: the Civil Engineer School, the Graduate School of Engineering and Management, the School of Strategic Force Studies, and the School of Systems and Logistics. Through its Civilian Institution Programs Office, AFIT also manages the educational programs of Airmen enrolled at more than 350 civilian universities, research centers, teaching hospitals, and industrial organizations. The office also manages the Air Force's Education with Industry (EWI) program, through which about 40-50 military and civilian Airmen spend a year with companies to learn industry best-practices and bring those practices back to the Air Force.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below, as outlined in the contract statement of work





The Program Manager is responsible to Credence and the customer for the timely accomplishment of all contract tasks, deliverables, financials, resource management and overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and proven experience in managing large government contracts, proposals/acquisitions, a sharp business acumen, business development, and a proven ability to implement high-level programs in a dynamic environment.

Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, involving multiple projects, subcontracts and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
Responsible for understanding customer priorities and directions, serving as the focal point for all executive-level and below customer interactions, mobilizing Credence corporate and team resources to fulfill all contractual requirements.
Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of all contractual deliverables, ensuring overall customer satisfaction with Credence services, resulting in "Exceptional" ratings on Contract Performance Assessment Reports (CPARs).
Monitor team plans and activities, identifying risks and opportunities while proactively taking actions to eliminate or mitigate risks and exploit new opportunities.
Report status, plans, issues, corrective actions, and results to Credence and the customer, responding effectively to guidance and direction from Credence and the customer in achievement of desired results.
Consistently staff the program with fully qualified, professional personnel capable of performing the contract tasks while exceeding customer expectations.
Meet with Credence personnel, teaming partners and the customer to verify individual and team performance, reassigning or removing personnel as necessary.
Understand the needs of team members and effectively advocate for their needs.
Maintain current client relationship and identifying areas for potential growth and development.
Develop and manage budget/funding sources for customers and be accountable for delivering against established program goals/objectives.
Analyze, evaluate, and manage/overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
Facilitate weekly/monthly program meetings with contracting and customer.
Technical skills required to write proposals, respond to primary contracting officer letters and develop solutions to meet client requirements.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications




Clearance: Secret or ability to obtain a Secret
Bachelor's degree(or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business administration)
Knowledge of the AFIT organization structure and mission
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification
Ten (10) years of demonstrated programmatic experience in support of DoD/Federal customers
Experience working on DoD/ government contracts performing all functional duties independently
Experience in writing government proposals
Willingness to travel, if required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to interact and effectively brief senior-ranking military/government/civilian leadership
