The Surgical Specialty Service Line offers multi-modal care to tertiary and quaternary care patients delivered in an Academic Care Environment.Our Surgeons and providers diagnose, provide treatment, conduct procedures and care for patients though all of our General Surgery, Bariatric, Colon and Rectal, Plastics, and Comprehensive Weight Management Clinics and Programs at multiple locations throughout the Metro Area.Many of our surgeons, providers, and their programs are leaders in various fields as excellent practices, exemplary researchers, and award winning educators. Our team of providers, nurses, pharmacists, researchers, and other health care professionals work to treat patients and deliver unparalleled care with the patient at the focal point of care while supporting our team members to excel in their careers.
As a Clinical Support Professional, you will play a meaningful role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits. Key responsibilities include monitoring clinic schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination room, and collecting pertinent medical information for their health records. In addition, you will be a valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians, among others. Qualifications to fulfill position responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
One of the following: NREMT & MN EMT certification OR Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA/CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred) OR active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license
Excellent customer service, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and work with a fluctuation in workload while working independently
Demonstrated ability to follow protocol specific care delivery expectations
